7th Annual Tom Zaborac Memorial Golf Outing
Four-Person Scramble – Open to the General Public

Golfers are invited to take part in the 7th Annual Tom Zaborac Memorial Golf Outing on Saturday, September 19, at Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club. The annual event brings together friends, family, and community members for a day of golf while supporting educational scholarships in memory of Tom Zaborac.
The entry fee is $50 per person or $200 per four-person team. Registration includes:
- 18 holes of golf with a cart,
- lunch,
- and a $15 donation that benefits both the Dee Zaborac Scholarship Fund and the Tom and Millie Zaborac Education Fund at Spoon River College.
Lunch will be served in the clubhouse beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon.
Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy an optional skins game, 50/50 drawing, and raffles throughout the day.
The outing has become a meaningful tradition, with more than $50,000 donated to the Zaborac college funds through the first six tournaments. Organizers hope to continue that success with another outstanding turnout this year.
Space is limited to the first 36 teams, so early registration is encouraged. To reserve a spot, contact:
o Jerry Padowan – 309-338-6887
o Ed Zaborac – 309-201-0947
o John Hardy – 309-224-1406
To help keep play moving, the tournament will use eight-person groups. Teams wishing to play alongside another foursome should let the organizers know when registering so we can pair you.
The Tom Zaborac Memorial Golf Outing continues to honor Tom’s legacy while investing in the future of local students through scholarships. Organizers extend their sincere appreciation to all of the generous sponsors.
